Karting Solutions Group (KSG), the US distributor for Rotax and home of the Race Rotax brand, today announces two developments for the 2026 season alongside TPK Promotions. For the first time, Rotax Mini MAX will join Senior MAX at the SKUSA SuperNationals in 2026, and the prize package for the Rotax MAX Challenge (RMC) Trophy Final has been expanded to give winners their choice of championship stage.

The FIA European Karting Championship for gearbox categories concluded from 2nd to 5th July at the Circuito Internazionale Napoli in Sarno. Following an intense weekend, the Sodi drivers left Italy with two podium finishes, a track record and a European runners-up title. In KZ, Matteo Spirgel secured 2nd place in the Final, whilst Jean Nomblot etched his name at the very top of the circuit’s record books. In KZ2, Matheus Morgatto took 3rd place on the podium with the fastest lap in the Final, bringing to a close a title battle that kept the paddock on the edge of their seats right to the very end, decided by a mere twelve points.

The second and final round of the FIA European Championship, held in Sarno, confirmed CRG’s position at the sharp end of the KZ categories. During the decisive weekend in Italy, Viktor Gustafsson finished 5th in the Final after securing pole position for the Super Heat at the end of the heats, ultimately closing the championship in 3rd place, just 12 points behind the winner.

Emilien Denner dominated the weekend in Sarno, taking pole position before winning every heat, the Super Heat and the Final, with the fastest lap, to become the new FIA Karting European KZ Champion.

It is time to take stock after the opening round of the 2026 E4 Championship at Vallelunga. Already leading the Italian Formula 4 Championship, US Racing’s Luka Sammalisto has also established himself at the top of the standings in the Formula 4 series promoted by ACI Sport and WSK Promotion, leaving the opening weekend as championship leader.
