With a racing career that peaked with Formula One and the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Pierre-Henri Raphanel knows exactly what it takes to control raw power, outstanding performance and high speeds under pressure from behind the wheel. At Bugatti, he has been using that rich experience and deep expertise since 2005, when he became the first – and only – Pilote Officiel of the brand. “I always knew I was destined for a life on the track and behind the wheel,” says Pierre-Henri. “Having started in karting, I knew from a very young age that I wanted to pursue a career interwoven with motorsport.”

The 2023 California ProKart Challenge came to a close on the September 22-24 weekend with the final two rounds contested at the Adams Motorsports Park in Riverside, CA. This was a revised series finale for the 19th championship season when Hurricane Hilary forced Round Five in August to be combined with Round Six. The new three-day weekend avoided weather issues, with perfect racing conditions for the drivers wrapping up the 2023 championship program.

ADAC to host German Kart Championship in future

The German Kart Championship will have a new look from the 2024 season onwards. For the coming season, ADAC e.V. will take over the organisation of the International German Kart Championship. The series has been an integral part of German karting since 1962, and the highest accolade in German karting will continue to be held under the umbrella of the ADAC in the future.

Development programme continues: The ADAC supports four drivers in the ADAC Formula 4

Predictable costs and an attractive sporting environment: the ADAC is continuing its development programme in Formula racing in the 2024 season. The ADAC Formula 4 Junior Team will again start in Formula 4 France next year. In cooperation with the FFSA Academy, four young drivers will have the chance to secure one of the coveted seats.
