The MP Group has further expanded its karting activities by acquiring the legendary karting circuit Karting Genk. To this end, MP owner Henk de Jong reached an agreement with the Lemmens family, who opened the outdoor track at Horensbergdam in 1983 and have owned it ever since. MP, best known in the Netherlands for its leading Formula racing team MP Motorsport, has been working for several years to grow its presence in karting—the foundation of the talent ladder that MP Motorsport offers all the way up to Formula 2.

After the announcement of the multi-year partnership between Kalì Kart and the new title sponsor Lenovo, the management of the historic CRG brand is working to define the 2026 drivers’ line-up of the team, which will be dedicated to the under-16 junior categories: Mini, OKNJ, OKJ, and OK. The racing program will include participation in all FIA Karting events (European Championship and World Championship for OK and OKJ classes), as well as a structure that will be active in Italy for the Mini U10 / Gr3 and OKN Junior categories.

KR-IAME teams dominated the FIA Karting World Championship in Kristianstad. In OK, Thibaut Ramaekers had a perfect Final to beat Joe Turney. In OK-Junior, Noah Baglin led from start to finish and was joined on the podium by two other drivers equipped with KR chassis. The technical and sporting decisions taken by the Kart Republic factory clearly contributed to this exceptional overall result, while ensuring that satellite teams had highly competitive equipment.

Meet in Laval to wrap up the 2025 NSK Season

This year, Laval will host the closing round of the NSK season. The 3rd event of 2025 is set to take place in Mayenne, from September 18 to 21, on the Laval Beausoleil Louis Paillard International Circuit. Interest in the flagship French series continues to grow, with 236 participants expected, including 90 in the Max Senior category alone – the headline class of the NSK that once again proves its strong appeal among drivers.
