Alex Powell claimed victory in Race 2 at Mugello, securing his first-ever win in the Italian F.4 Championship. In a weekend that is rewarding the hard work put in since the start of the season, Powell added to his third place in Race 1 by taking the win in the second race of the weekend, making the most of the first of his two pole positions earned in qualifying. He will start from pole again tomorrow in the final race of Round 4 of the Championship, promoted by ACI Sport and WSK Promotion.

Elite Motorsport’s Ary Bansal enjoyed his best day of the GB4 Championship season so far as he claimed both pole positions on offer in qualifying, and then led every lap of race one to clinch his second win of the campaign. The Indian driver held off teammate Isaac Phelps during the 10 lap contest on Saturday afternoon, with championship leader Dan Guinchard finishing third to maintain his standings lead.

Kean Nakamura-Berta claimed victory in Race 1 of Round 4 of the Italian F.4 Championship, promoted by ACI Sport and WSK Promotion. The Prema Racing driver delivered a commanding lights-to-flag performance from pole position, managing two race restarts following safety car interventions. With 190 points collected so far, Nakamura-Berta further extends his lead in the overall standings, now holding a 48-point advantage over teammate Sebastian Wheldon, who finished seventh today.

Scarperia e San Piero (FI) - At the Mugello Circuit, 38 drivers competing in the Italian F.4 Championship took to the track for official qualifying, pushing against the clock to secure the best possible starting position for the weekend’s races. Pole position for Race 1 went to Prema Racing’s Kean Nakamura-Berta, while Mercedes junior Alex Powell of R-ace GP will start from the front in both Race 2 and Race 3, a positive turnaround after a challenging start to the season.

Flame Airikkala to make GB4 debut with Pace Performance at Snetterton

British-Finnish racer Flame Airikkala will make her GB4 debut at Snetterton this weekend (12-13 July), completing a capacity three-car line-up at Pace Performance. The 18-year-old is the granddaughter of rallying legend Pentti Airikkala, and already has racing experience to count on across the past couple of seasons.
