The opening event of the WSK Euro Series at the Leopard Circuit Viterbo was won by Hedfors (MINI Gr.3), Godschalk (MINI U10), Xie (OK-NJ), Domain (OKJ), Scognamiglio (OK-N) and Costoya (OK).

The move from two to three competitions in the Mondokart.com FIA Karting European Championship for the KZ and KZ2 categories has been requested by many drivers and teams for this season. After the thrilling and spectacular first part of the season with the five rounds of the WSK Super Master Series, the time has come for the highly anticipated start of the WSK Euro Series. The first round will be held at the Leopard Circuit Viterbo from May 13th to 17th. The final phase will take place on Saturday.
