The Gabriel Thirouin Circuit of Angerville was chosen to host the French Karting Grand Prix, the first competition of the year for the 2019 FIA Karting European Championships - OK and OK-Junior which will take place from 19th to 21st April 2019. Near Paris, the Angerville track hosts an international race after having hosted the famous 2006 World Championship for Formula A and the U18 World Championship in 2012. Its 1198 m long recently re-homologated circuit has undergone slight adjustments to follow the evolution of standards, but still has its special character, both technical and selective. 

The RMC Euro Trophy, reborn in 2018, starts in its second season! With the successful 3-day format we are looking forward to see international drivers competing in the three-round championship as well as the additional RMC Euro Trophy Open. Thrilling races can be expected when the drivers compete for the 10 Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals tickets available. 

At the end of a sunny day on Saturday in Angerville devoted to the Qualification Heats which were marked by thrilling races, Dexter Patterson and Tuuka Taponen are in the best positions in OK and in Junior respectively before the last Heats remaining to run on Sunday morning.
