Gabriel Bortoleto was the undisputed star of the second Spanish round of the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine, going for a fine victory after taking his first pole position this morning. 

Victor Bernier (FA Racing) made the best start to his race weekend in Barcelona by setting the fastest time in the first collective test, which officially kicked off the penultimate round of the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine.

W Series' trio of Spanish drivers – Belén García, Marta Garcia and Nerea Martí – will be eager to perform well in front of their home fans, from whom they can expect strong support, particularly Belen who lives only 15 km (9.3 miles) away in L'Ametlla del Vallès, Barcelona.
 

Gabriele Minì set the fastest time in Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine two day testing on the Montmeló circuit, in Spain. The ART Grand Prix driver led the charts in both days. The 17-year-old Italian emerged in yesterday’s first session with the best time of 1m40.497s. Minì secured the fastest lap also in today’s first session with 1m40.503s.

Portimao, Jerez, Valencia, Spa-Francorchamps, Aragón, Navarra, and Barcelona will be the venues of the Spanish Formula 4 Championship events for the 2022 season.

The Dutch rider took his fourth consecutive victory after a hat-trick in Jerez.

PREMA Racing opened its 2021 FIA Formula 3 season with a win at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. Lining up for the two reverse-grid races held on Saturday, Olli Caldwell navigated the pack to perfection to secure his first win in the series in race 2 coming from a solid sixth place in race 1. Starting from P7 in race 2, the British racer quickly improved his position. While in P5, he made the most out of two contacts ahead and boldly held onto the lead throughout the closing stages.
 

Grégoire Saucy (ART Grand Prix) wins, as predictable after the amazing pace all day yesterday, race 1 on the Circuit de Barcelona Catalunya. Behind him his teammate Gabriele Minì, first among the Rookies, a good Paul Aron, gaining one position from 4th on the grid to 3rd. Fourth is Alex Quinn (Arden Motorsport), fifth is Mari Boya (Van Amersfoort Racing), losing 2 positions, and sixth William Alatalo (Arden Motorsport).

PREMA Racing is ready to begin writing another chapter of a successful history this weekend at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. The 4.7-kilometre Spanish venue, home to the Grand Prix of Spain, is hosting the opening round of the 2021 FIA Formula 3 Championship.
 

After the fantastic racing in Imola, at the opening Round of the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine – certified by FIA, on the Enzo and Dino Ferrari F1 circuit, with the excellent wins by the Spanish David Vidales (Prema Powerteam) and the Swiss Grégoire Saucy (ART Grand Prix), teams and drivers are now already at the Circuit de Barcelona Catalunya, in the occasion of the Formula 1 Aramco Gran Premio De España 2021.

A change to the calendar of the new Series sets the start of the Championship in Imola on 16-18 April, the first of three F1® support races this year

Some necessary changes and improvements to the 2021 calendar of the Formula Regional by Alpine have been made, while the organization of the new Championship is proceeding fast in the final steps towards what is definitely going to be an extraordinary season, thanks to the joint efforts of ACI Sport and Alpine.
