The 2022 Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine season moved a step closer as the teams and drivers competing in this year’s series came together for the last collective test at Monza (5-6 April).

Brazilian racer Eduardo Barrichello has signed with Arden Motorsport for his second season in Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine joining Noel Leon (Red Bull Junior) and Joshua Dürksen. 

Arden Motorsport has confirmed Alex Connor as its second driver for the 2021 BRDC British Formula 3 Championship season.
 

The final list of the 12 teams that will participate to the 2021 season of the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine – certified by FIA and promoted by ACI Sport has been confirmed.

Arden Motorsport is pleased to confirm Finnish rising star William Alatalo will join the team for the 2021 Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine season.

The new series, the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine – certified by FIA, which sees ACI Sport as Promoter, is definitely the official step from F4 towards F1, with the important certification by FIA, allowing 25 points of Super License for the winner of the series. 16 teams have applied, and 13 have been pre-selected to the 2021 championship, all of them potentially ready to line up 3 cars (with the possibility of a 4th car for a woman driver), in a season that is definitely showing an amazing potential for what regards professionality, high competition and amazing show.

While Lorenzo Colombo (Bhaitech Racing) dominated the action at Circuit Paul Ricard to take his second win of the year, all eyes were focused on title contenders Victor Martins (ART Grand Prix) and Caio Collet (R-ace GP). With a fourth-place finish on Saturday, Victor Martins clinches the title in season fifty of the Formula Renault Eurocup and makes it two titles for his team prior to the final race of the season.

Thanks to an excellent start from third place on the grid, Renault Sport Academy driver Caio Collet (R-ace GP) wins in front of motor racing’s elite at Imola. The Brazilian driver was followed by rookie Alex Quinn (Arden Motorsport) and pole winner Lorenzo Colombo (Bhaitech Racing) to close the gap to eight points from the Formula Renault Eurocup leader, Victor Martins (ART Grand Prix), who was fifth today.
