Perfect weekend for Andrea Kimi Antonelli: The Prema driver took victory in both ADAC Formula 4 races on Sunday.

Victor Bernier continues his inexorable progression in the sphere of international motorsport.

Victor Bernier won Saturday’s ADAC Formula 4 race at the Hockenehimring to claim his first victory of the season. 

The first wins of the season for US Racing driver Tim Tramnitz (16) and Nikita Bedrin (15, Van Amersfoort Racing) from Russia took centre stage in ADAC Formula 4 on Sunday at the Hockenheimring.

Oliver Bearman from the Van Amersfoort Racing team won the opening ADAC Formula 4 race at the Hockenheimring.

The starters in the ADAC Formula 4 have completed some very intensive test days as they prepare for the upcoming season. The fastest driver during testing was Oliver Bearman (15, Great Britain, Van Amersfoort Racing), who finished top in two of the six sessions.

Ralf Schumacher and his team are back for another crack, drivers from Formula 1 world champion Nico Rosberg’s academy are joining the field, Van Amersfoort Racing lines up with no fewer than five drivers, and the son of former Formula 1 driver Juan Pablo Montoya takes his place on the grid again: the stage is set for a thrilling seventh season in ADAC Formula 4. 
 

The newcomers of BWR Motorsport, led by former Team Rosberg engineer Erich Baumgärtner, are cooperating with former Formula 1 world champion Rosberg’s Racing Academy and have already announced two drivers for the ADAC F4. The new BWR team, which is cooperating with Nico Rosberg, has also confirmed two drivers already.

Van Amersfoort Racing is happy to announce to have Bence Válint in their Formula 4 squad for the second time around. Bence is scheduled to attack the full Italian F4 Championship and will also compete in selected rounds of the ADAC German F4 Series. 

Jonny Edgar acknowledged the most important success of his career to date without any great show of emotion. Even his team had to ask him to come out of his shell a little after his terrific charge up the field in the final ADAC Formula 4 race of the season at Oschersleben. But 16-year-old Edgar is not one to broadcast his feelings, preferring to keep his emotions to himself, and this detachment characterised the Van Amersfoort driver's season. He was the dominant force initially but suddenly appeared to be the big loser at the weekend, only to hit back with determination and strength in the last race. In an extremely exciting season finale, Edgar managed to catch team-mate Jak Crawford and secure the championship title in the ADAC High-Speed Academy with a two-point lead.
