The 26th edition of the Winter Cup was not held in February as usual, but in November on the South Garda Karting circuit in Lonato. The rain, which was getting heavier and heavier, made the Final stages more difficult. Dutchman Marijn Kremers, who comes from a seafaring background, won the KZ2 race thanks to his fighting spirit and impressive control in the downpour, a week after Alessandro Buran and the Renda Motorsport team won the 49th Trofeo delle Industrie in KZ2 at Lonato.

In Lonato, Giuseppe Palomba and Riccardo Longhi have just given the Birel ART Racing Team a formidable double win in KZ2 to conclude the 25th Winter Cup, during which the Lissone brand put in an exceptional performance. Barely five months after winning the World KZ Championship on the same track, Birel ART shows its ambitions for 2020 in the first KZ2 competition.

Leonardo Marseglia takes home another podium in the last round of the ACI Karting Italian Championship held in Val Vibrata, Italy.

Cunati dominated KZ2 and won the Italian title. Macintyre is the new 60 Mini Champion, Cesari that of KZN Under, Pagani won KZN Over, Pulito X30 Junior and Villa X30 Senior.

Leonardo Marseglia expressed himself at the very best at the Circuito Internazionale Napoli, winning Race 2 of the ACI Karting Italian Championship.

The Italian driver won Race1 and came second in Race2 closing in on Cunati that retained the lead of KZ2 but was quite unlucky in Sarno. The third round of the Italian Championship has made the campaign lively in all classifications.

Great performance in Siena by Leonardo Marseglia, 2nd in Race 2 at the ACI Karting Italian Championship. From 15th to 2nd to death with overtakes: Leonardo Marseglia takes home another awesome weekend in Siena, one week before the second and last round of the FIA Karting KZ2 European Championship in Sarno.

Cunati won Race-1 in KZ2 and increased his lead, Tormen won Race-2. The other winners are: Trentin and Marenghi in 60 Mini, Cesari and D'Attanasio in KZN Under, Profico and Torsellini in KZN Over, Cenedese and Bertuca in X30 Junior, Villa and Ingolfo in X30 Senior.

On the track that will held the FIA Karting KZ2 International Super Cup, the South Garda Karting in Lonato (ITA), Leonardo Marseglia takes home his first win with the shifterkart.

Spectacle and organization have been the ingredients of the success of the 30th edition of the Andrea Margutti Trophy. The winners of the 6 categories on track are Denner (Sodikart, KZ2), Bertini Colla (OK, KR), Wernersson (OKJ, Kosmic), Bergstrom (Mini, Parolin), Villa (Iame X30, TBKart) and Leonardi (KFA).

The performance was undeniably there at Lonato for the Birel ART Racing Team, in the three international categories of the Winter Cup. Satisfaction lit up the faces of the technicians from the Lissone factory and their drivers after very encouraging performances during the first big meeting of the 2019 season. The course of such a competition can often be disturbed by racing incidents, but the preparation work by the team during the winter has undoubtedly gone well.

The 24th Winter Cup at South Garda Karting sets the stage for the Leonardo Marseglia’s debut in KZ2 with the Red Army from Lissone. Another season is about to start, but this season Leonardo Marseglia will have more new stimuli: new team and different category for him!
