In 2024 CRG will manage 3 events in the Rental sector with its Centurion karts equipped with Honda 390cc engines. The season will open with the classic 24 Hours Karting of Italy scheduled for March 16th and 17th on the Castelletto di Branduzzo track, followed by the Endurance Kart Cup on June 15th on the Ala track, a race with a mixed sprint and endurance format, while the Rental Kart World Contest, which will be confirmed with a sprint format and will take place on the Cremona track on 5th and 6th October, will end the season.
It is a calendar distributed harmoniously from the beginning to the end of the year and capable of satisfying the expectations of the huge number of Rental drivers. Some characteristics will be common to all events, such as the use of a completely brand-new fleet of karts in each of the three races, as well as the definition of two categories: PRO for expert drivers and SILVER for the more amateur ones. That said, each event will above all have its specific prerogatives, first and foremost regarding the format. Everything will start with the 7th edition of the 24 Hours Karting of Italy, which represents the most classic and prestigious event of the Endurance ones, capable of attracting teams from all over the world to the Castelletto track, and then we will move to the beautiful Ala track for the Endurance Kart Cup, a trophy that will be awarded by the sum of points to the most complete team, with a format that will include scores after Qualifying Practice, after a Sprint race and, finally, at the end of the main race over an 8-hour distance. As usual, the season will then end with the Rental Kart World Contest which will elect the fastest 2024 Rental driver (SILVER and PRO) after 2 days of racing with the format of individual meetings of international karting (Qualifying, Heat, Pre Finals, and Finals).
A specific prerogative of each individual event will also be the circuit on which it will take place: Castelletto di Branduzzo which is much appreciated as a track by the drivers of the 24 Hours Karting of Italy, both for the layout of the track itself and for its services, such as the Hotel within the paddock; the Ala track, which with its uphill and downhill stretches will make the Endurance Kart Cup spectacular and, finally the Cremona one, which has joined the club of the FIA Karting tracks, fast and technical, which will be the setting for the prestigious Rental Kart World Contest.
As regards costs: the entry fee to attend the 24 Hours Karting of Italy is Euro 2,600.00 + VAT per team, the one of the Endurance Kart Cup is Euro 1,200.00 + VAT per team and, finally, the Rental Kart World Contest costs Euro 390.00 per driver.
It will be an exciting rental season capable of satisfying the expectations of the most competitive drivers and teams, but also and above all of offering lots of fun to hundreds of enthusiasts with very high organizational standards.
