Gunskirchen, June 8, 2018 – This exciting new partnership between engine manufacturer BRP-Rotax
and the Edmonton & District Kart Racing Association in Warburg Alberta sparks a new cooperation that
is fully focused on assisting the sport of karting to grow while sustaining a positive future for the club
members.

In Las Vegas, Rok will be the protagonist of an event totally dedicated to this category.

The fourth round of the 2018 season saw high temperatures on Sunday at the fast Dorset track and some great racing, particularly in the TKM classes. Honda Cadet and the three Rotax Max classes were also on the programme.

Thanks to a new partnership with Kartstore, the Rok Center of the center area is born. The new facility will be operating from the next race in the center area, scheduled in Viterbo for next June 24^th.

The 8th edition of the SWS World Final confirms Sodikart's desire to give this flagship leisure karting event an even stronger international base. Organised since 2011 in France, the annual meeting of the best drivers of the Sodi World Series will take place this year in Italy, on a large racing circuit near Venice to combine sport and leisure in a new approach.

The third round of the 2018 Super One Series saw some outstanding racing for the IAME Cadet, X30, TKM and Bambino classes at the Scottish circuit of Larkhall. The weather stayed mild but cloudy for most of the event, which was the first of the year for the TKMs and Bambinos. The next round will be at Clay Pigeon in Dorset on the first weekend of June for the Honda Cadet, Rotax, TKM and OK classes.

The second round of the Spanish Championship in Zuera highlighted the speed of CRG drivers. Fontecha claimed the win in Senior, Santos in KZ2 and De Gaye in Silver.

The second round of the Tuto Super One Series took place at Whilton Mill at the weekend, with another record entry and again a C Final in Senior Max which Joe Turney continues to dominate.Saturday’s weather was wet or greasy all day, but on Sunday the drivers soon got onto slicks and stayed there.

Two weeks are missing before the start of the ACI-Rok Italian Championship, which will take place on the International circuit of Siena (March 27^th, 28^th and 29^th).

The 36th edition of the Tuto Super One Series kicked off at the weekend at PF International with racing for the Rotax, X30 and Cadet classes in variable weather. The Rotax classes have been rejuvenated by a new two-day race programme with Qualifying and Heats on Saturday and Finals on Sunday. Senior Rotax has gone from zero to 69 drivers, necessitating C and B Finals, while there were full grids in 177 and Junior Rotax and an increase in Minimax entries. Along with the always-healthy X30 and Cadet grids, altogether there were 301 entries. The next round will be at Whilton Mill on 27th-29th April for the same classes.

Australia’s best kart racers will head to the Albury-Wodonga region for the second round of the 2018 SP Tools Australian Kart Championship, presented by Castrol EDGE next weekend (April 13-15).

Alpha Karting's sporting, technical and commercial strategy has immediately begun to bear fruit at the start of the season in 2018. The new CIK homologated chassis, as well as the FFSA homologated chassis in Minime and Cadet, enabled their drivers and their teams to display a very high level of performance. The podiums are there for the French manufacturer and Alpha Karting has the ambition to continue its momentum alongside its partners.

Australian karting icon Drew Price was inducted into the Australian Motor Sport Hall of Fame in Melbourne on Friday evening.

A total of 204 drivers have contested the first round of the 29th Spring Trophy, race made trickier by the rain that has affected the final stages of the first round with national categories, Iame X30 Trophy and historic karts KFA 100 cc on track.

It has been an amazing weekend for Baby Race at Lonato in the 2018 running of the prestigious Margutti Trophy. The team led by Sandro Lorandi, running their brand-new Parolin chassis machinery, won the Mini 60 class with Coskun Irfan. The Englishman also delivered a fantastic pole in qualifying to complete the job, while in KZ Alessio Lorandi literally dominated the Final. In addition, Alexey Brizhan and Finlay Kennealy delivered two fourth place finishes in OK and OKJ respectively, in a more than positive outing.

The opening round of the 2018 SP Tools Australian Kart Championship, presented by Castrol EDGE has created history through Lachie Dalton becoming the first Tasmanian to win a round of the AKC and Aaron Cameron took the first KZ2 round win for JC Kart.

The traditional Andrea Margutti Trophy will once again have a great participation. More than 200 drivers already entered the 29th edition of this historic race organized by Parma Motorsport for next March 9-11 at the South Garda Karting circuit in Lonato.

It's been a learning weekend for the Baby Race Team at Lonato in the traditional Winter Cup.

Not the best weekend for Alex Irlando during the Lonato Wintercup. A contact occurred immediately after the green light bends Alex Irlando’s axle, forcing him to retire.

Drawing on the lessons of his first season in OK-Junior, Suleiman Zanfari is changing his strategy for 2018. He chose to race with the Lotus Racing Karts team who he knows well and that he knows will to dedicate themselves entirely to him. Surrounded by highly valued technicians, he will use Tony Kart chassis with Vortex engines.
