Superkarts! USA confirms location for 2026 Winter Series

Speedsportz Racing Park to host both events of four-round championship program

TEMECULA, CA – Since its inception in 2018, the Superkarts! USA Winter Series has been situated in the state of Florida, hosting events at Ocala Gran Prix, AMR Homestead-Miami Motorplex Presented by MG Tires and, most recently, the Orlando Kart Center. Each venue has provided its own uniqueness and history throughout the eight years of the program. Year nine of the SKUSA Winter Series will present a new location, with both events of the 2026 schedule to be held at the Speedsportz Racing Park in New Caney, Texas.

Speedsportz Racing Park was site of the 2025 Superkarts! USA Pro Tour WinterNationals, and its popularity drew racers from around the country, making it the first ever Pro Tour event to welcome over 300 entries. It was the largest event in the 16-year history of the championship series.

This move to the New Caney, Texas facility is rooted in that fact Orlando Kart Center does not have the necessary space to hold the events in 2026. The Orlando, Florida facility was site of both events for the 2025 SKUSA Winter Series, but it was unable to secure the added space needed to host Superkarts! USA in 2026, as mentioned in an official statement released from OKC earlier today.

“We are continuing to build and reaffirm our relationship with the many facilities at which we have hosted SKUSA events,” commented Superkarts! USA CEO Tom Kutscher. “The situation surrounding the land around the Orlando Kart Center limits our ability to park the hundreds of cars that bring our competitors, their families, the event staff and many more to the facility. We will continue to work with the Orlando Kart Center management in hopes of bringing back an event under the Superkarts! USA banner in the future.”

“For now, we will focus on making history by sending our program to the Lone Star State,” added Kutscher. “The amazing effort provided by Alan Rudolph and his staff at Speedsportz will make the transition this year seamless. Our goal is to welcome the massive record numbers we hosted in Orlando once again, this time at Speedsportz.”

Details surrounding the SKUSA Winter Series will be available following the running of the Superkarts! USA SuperNationals 28, scheduled for November 12-16 at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway facility in Las Vegas. Dates are confirmed for the 2026 Superkarts! USA Pro Tour with two locations locked in and the opening event to be announced in the coming days.
