The 2026 Rotax MAX Challenge Winter Cup has officially taken shape at KartCenter Campillos, with 135 drivers successfully verified for the opening event of the new season.

WSK Promotion announces that registrations for the 2026 Rotax MAX Challenge Winter Cup will open Monday, December 1st 2025.

2024 was a milestone year for WSK Promotion, marked by the debut of the Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Trophy and the Rotax MAX Challenge Winter Cup among its championships, resulting from the collaboration with BRP-Rotax. This new partnership has established a championship distinguished by the high quality of its competitions and remarkable participation.

The Italian team refueled during the winter break and set off again to attack the podiums, which have already been numerous in 2023. From the Winter Cup, Martin Molnar triumphed in OK. In WSK, Danny Carenini won in IAME-X30 Junior at the Open Series, before winning again a week later at the famous Andrea Margutti Trophy. There were also podiums at the WSK Super Master Series with Dries Van Langendonck in OK-Junior and at the WSK Champions Cup with Tomass Stolcermanis in OK.

This year began as the last one ended for Jimmy Helias – with great results! The rising star in French karting has made a very successful transition from the Junior to the OK category. After his convincing performance concluded with a marvelous fourth place in the Winter Cup, the opening event of the season, the driver from Normandy put on another scintillating display on the Lonato circuit in Italy with the Ward Racing team.

Officially presented at the end of 2017, the KR brand has had a meteoric rise, winning three FIA Karting World Championships and no less than seven European Championship titles in just five seasons! The Italian factory's chassis and all the teams representing the Kart Republic colours are back for another season, which promises to be even more successful. In 2022, Frenchman Émilien Denner and Dutchman Senna van Walstijn will defend the colours of Sodikart in the top category of karting, KZ, aiming to shine in the major international competitions; the Winter Cup, WSK, European Championship and the FIA Karting World Championship.

Even if the CRG team will take part in the XX Copa de Campeones in Zuera next December, the long competitive season of international meetings for the Mini, OK-Junior, OK and KZ classes has essentially ended with the WSK Final in Adria.

This year, the Winter Cup had to give up its usual spot at the beginning of the season to wait until mid-November on the South Garda Karting circuit in Lonato.

In the last act of the 2021 racing season, Jan Przyrowski obtains, with the official colours of the Tony Kart Racing Team, the third place in OKJ class in a wet edition of the classic competition of the South Garda Karting in Lonato.
