The second half of the 2023 California ProKart Challenge was revised due to the arrival of Hurricane Hilary. The fourth stop of the Superkarts! USA regional series in August was scheduled to be a double-round weekend, hosting Rounds Four and Five. Due to the weather issues, Round Five was moved to the upcoming series finale weekend on September 22-24 at the Adams Motorsports Park in Riverside, California.

Registration is now open for the 28^th running of the Xtream Rock Island Grand Prix, the world’s largest and most prestigious karting street race, Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 2-3.

The opening weekend for the 2023 California ProKart Challenge took place over March 11-12 at the Buttonwillow Raceway Park. Nearly 100 competitors participated on the weekend at the California facility with two full days of action for the first event of the six-round championship program. The 7/10-mile circuit in the counter-clockwise direction welcomed nine drivers earning their first victories on the season at the Superkarts! USA regional program.

The 2023 California ProKart Challenge will begin on the March 11-12 weekend at Buttonwillow Raceway Park. The 19th season of the Superkarts! USA regional program visits the California facility for the first round of the six-round championship series. The race will be the first major event within the state on the season, with big numbers anticipated for the two-day event.

Organizers of the Xtream Rock Island Grand Prix have announced a wide-ranging class lineup for the 27^th running of the world’s largest karting street race on Sept. 3-4, 2022. The race lineup remains essentially unchanged from last year with one exception. A driver survey conducted last Fall, and subsequent discussions with racers, urged race organizers to bring back a senior Yamaha can class in 2022.
