After a long winter break, action resumed, and the first qualifying session for the series in 2026 was held at the Kartodromo Internacional Lucas Guerrero in the Valencia region, the annual host of the IAME Winter Cup. The wait is over for the Lenovo Kalì Kart Team: on Saturday, February 14, the team will compete in Round 1 of the WSK Euro Series, the first race of the season. This important international event, scheduled at the Viterbo circuit, will serve as an excellent shakedown for the 2026 Kalì Kart chassis and for the new drivers who have joined the team and Lenovo’s Karting Academy project.

The Tony Kart Racing Team faces the second round of the WSK Super Master Series, taking third place in OK class with Jindrich Pesl, who sets the fastest time in the qualifyings. The Racer 401 T chassis also gained first place in the OKJ category’s final.

Hitech has confirmed that Deagen Fairclough will remain with the team for the 2026 GB3 Championship, completing its three-car line-up for the coming campaign.

From Mini to KZ, KR chassis performed well in all categories during the second round of the WSK Super Master Series. Zanella Racing is pleased to announce that American Grant Mitchell will make his USF Pro Championships by Continental Tire debut with the team this season, competing in the USF Juniors program. The 16-year-old Lake Forest, Illinois, student participated in the Skip Barber Racing School Formula Car Series last season and has logged considered testing time in the Tatuus JR-23 USF Juniors car over the last six months to prepare for his entry into the series.

The concept of ‘team’ took on its full meaning once again in Sarno for Modena Kart during the second round of the WSK Super Master Series. The nine drivers entered by the Italian team all earned their tickets to the Final, and many of their high-performance Parolin-TM Kart combinations were in the top 10 from Qualifying to the Final.

In almost all national markets, the 2026 karting season is already getting underway. It has also had an international prologue with the first WSK meetings, before entering the heart of the season with the FIA Karting championships.

Parolin delivered another strong weekend in the WSK Super Master Series at Sarno, converting pace into race victories, podium finishes and significant forward progress across multiple categories and teams, despite a weekend shaped by constantly changing weather conditions.
 

F1 Academy has today announced that Chinese driver Shi Wei, also known as ‘Tie Dou’, will return as the first F1 Academy Wild Card entry of the 2026 season.

Yuhao “Felix” Fu will make his GB3 Championship debut this year, after being confirmed as the second driver in Hitech’s line-up.
