It was a dramatic first visit of 2024 to the Dubai Autodrome for the Formula 4 UAE Championship Certified by FIA (F4 UAE). Two race victories for Nikita Bedrin have propelled the PHM AIX Racing driver firmly into the championship hunt, in which Mumbai Falcons Racing’s Freddie Slater continues to narrowly lead. After a superb weekend that also included two pole positions, Bedrin is one of four drivers at the top of the table covered by 22 points – 25 are on offer for a race win – with two events comprising six races still to come.

Freddie Slater tops the Formula 4 United Arab Emirates Championship (F4UAE) standings as the series returns at Dubai Autodrome on February 2-4 following a weekend off since the opening two events at Yas Marina. The 15-year-old English talent, representing Mumbai Falcons Racing, is 23 points clear prior to the final nine races over three weekends.

Van Amersfoort Racing is happy to welcome Alvise Rodella to the team for the upcoming Italian F4 and Euro 4 championships. This will be the second season of the 16-year-old Italian driver in Formula 4, after stepping up from karting last year.

The 15-year-old British talent, who only moved into F4 in August 2023, was a force all weekend with Mumbai Falcons Racing. Slater finished third in the opening race, then charged from 10^th in the starting line-up for the reversed-grid sequel to snatch fourth place on the sprint to the finish line. Slater rounded out the weekend by claiming victory in the weekend’s final race.

Italian karter Alvise Rodella has chosen MP Motorsport for his full-season promotion to single-seaters. The youngster will step up from karts for a campaign in the 2023 Spanish Formula 4 Championship with the Dutch team.
