The WSK Euro Series started this weekend on the Lonato circuit in a contrasting weather situation. After the sunshine of the first days, rain and coolness accompanied the Final stages. Birel ART Racing showed very good competitiveness in all categories. Kremers dominated KZ2 in all weather conditions, there was no shortage of good performances in OK, Macintyre was 5th in OK-Junior and Van Langendonck was 4th in Mini.

The Birel ART Racing team entered the second international event of the season, the first of the four competitions of the WSK Super Master Series with an almost complete line-up of 17 drivers. Longhi in KZ2, Kucharczyk in OK and Van Langendonck in Mini were able to put in top performances, in the top five, or very close, while the field had strengthened even more since the WSK Champions Cup of the previous week. Birel ART Racing can confidently continue its preparation phase for the big events of 2021.

The first competition of the 2021 season, the WSK Champions Cup allowed Birel ART Racing to debut it's team on the Adria Karting Raceway in the presence of a record number of participants. In Mini, the largest category, Van Langendonk did very well to reach 6th position in the Final. Spirgel showed excellent competitiveness in the Junior class, and Kucharczyk adapted perfectly to the OK category, as did Thanapongpan in KZ2.

Since the beginning of the 90s, the Italian Alessandro Manetti has made an impact on the highest level of kart racing. Three times FIA Karting European Champion between 1991 and 2007, double FIA Karting World Champion in Formula A and Formula Super A, his talent and the care with which he has maintained his physical condition have allowed him to stay at the top for many years both in the direct drive categories and at the wheel of a gearbox kart for different brands. He created his own team, Manetti Motorsport, in 2018, achieving very convincing results since last year with a growing number of drivers.
