The weather was fine and warm in Germany for the Qualifying sessions of the FIA Karting event in Wackersdorf. The sessions were intense in all three classes where the drivers were discovering the MG Tires in race condition. The gaps were particularly close in the FIA Karting Academy Trophy, where poleman Bart Harrison (GBR) won with a lead of seven hundredths of a second. Senna van Walstijn (NLD) set the fastest time in the FIA Karting European Championship - KZ2 with obvious brilliance.
