The victory went to Van Walstijn (KZ2), Forè (KZ2 Masters), Berezkin (OK-NJ), Marchesi (OK-N), Truchot (MINI Gr.3) and Perico (MINI Gr.3 U10).

Qualifying practice of the opener of the WSK Open Series have taken place. Qualifying heats of all the categories MINI, OKNJ, OKN and KZ2 will follow shortly. The final stages will be on Sunday, April 7th. 

At Wackersdorf, Birel ART put in a very good performance in all three categories of the FIA World Karting meeting. Despite a number of ups and downs on the track, the results were ultimately positive, with Daniel Vasile finishing 3rd in the KZ2 World Cup. Thomas Mich was on the podium in the KZ2 Masters International Super Cup and Matteo Vigano (Leclerc by Lennox Racing) took 4th place in the World KZ Championship. Birel ART finished well ahead in the KZ2 team rankings.

In Cremona, Birel ART lived up to its reputation by winning the WSK Super Master Series KZ2 Championship thanks to Cristian Bertuca. Matteo Viganò, the driver from the Leclerc by Lennox Racing team, won the Final, Bertuca accompanied him on the third step of the podium, five Birel ART / TM finished in the top 10 and Freddie Slater, holder of the pole position, followed in 11th place. To top it all off, the FIA International Karting Ranking places three Birel ART Racing drivers in the top three positions in KZ2 - Bertuca, Vasile and Slater.

Speed and consistency were the keys to this decisive phase which allowed Senna van Walstijn (NLD) and Freddie Slater (GBR) to take the top positions in KZ and KZ2 respectively.

The hard-fought finals went to Bertuca (KZ2), Egozi (OK), Aksoy (OKJ), Zulfikari (MINI Gr.3), and Venant (MINI Gr.3 U10).

The factory team will compete in all 4 major classes: KZ, KZ2, OK and OKJ. Riccardo Longhi, 2021 FIA Karting KZ European Champion, Pedro Hiltbrand, FIA Karting World and European Champion, and Giuseppe Palomba, multiple WSK winner, have been confirmed in KZ.

The Birel ART factory continues to write karting history in golden letters. In Cremona, the Italian chassis took the top three places in the KZ2 Final thanks to Tom Leuillet, Cristian Bertuca and Alessio Piccini. Already a winner in Genk, the Frenchman, therefore, brings a deserved title to the Birel ART and TM Racing brands, as well as to the Leclerc by Lennox Racing team. The heat wave currently raging in Europe has not spared northern Italy, where the second and final round of the FIA Karting European Championship - KZ & KZ2 and the second of the three rounds of the FIA Karting Academy Trophy will be held this weekend at the new international circuit of Cremona. Sunday's programme has been adapted accordingly. Pedro Hiltbrand (ESP) dominated the KZ class, while Moritz Ebner (ITA) was the leader in KZ2. The battle for the titles promises to be full of suspense. In the Academy, Matias Orjuela (COL) and Thibaut Ramaekers (BEL) are neck-and-neck.
