The Erftlandring in Kerpen is the venue for the fourth event of the German Kart Championship this coming weekend and could prove to be groundbreaking in the title fight. The supporting programme will once again feature the youngsters of the Mini 60 Series by Chrono Karting. The title sponsor is GTC Race - the sports car series has been a partner of the DKM since the beginning of the year and supports the championship with a GT4 test drive.

From May 7^th – 9^th, the German Kart Championship is going to start into its new season on the Erftlandring in Kerpen. The highest German kart racing series is going to offer a strong platform with an extensive program again. The registrations for guest drivers will be possible from April 1^st. 

The last races of the 2020 season for the German Kart Championship will take place in Oschersleben this weekend. Motorsport Arena Oschersleben is back on the DKM calendar after four years. The DKM was last guest at the Motorsport Arena in 2016 and is now returning. With a track length of 1,018 meters, the track is the shortest and at the same time the fastest in the racing calendar.

After the double serve in Kerpen, the German Kart Championship is now entering the second half of the season in the Prokart Raceland Wackersdorf. On the race track in the Upper Palatinate, 115 drivers compete in the five predicates and could already ensure the first preliminary decisions in the fight over the title.

Three weeks after the season kick-off to the German Kart Championship in Kerpen, the highest German kart racing series took place in the Erftland again for its second event. With changed weather conditions, there were a couple of changes among the championships. The participants of the German Electric Kart Championship experienced their season kick-off. Juho Valtanen, Luca Griggs (both DKM), Kris Haanen (DJKM), Stan Pex (DSKM), Tim Tröger (DSKC) as well as Sebastian Kraft and Joel Mesch (both DEKM) finished the races as winners.

Despite extensive efforts, the responsible parties were unable to agree on the financing of the event. Now, the second run takes place again in Kerpen, but in the opposite driving direction.
