On 28 and 29 November the annual Kart Mania was held in the Ricoh stadium in Coventry - UK. This kart exhibition can be seen as the leading kart exhibition for the UK and increases in quality each year. Schuurman BV, based in Holland and worldwide distributer for RK1 4-Stroke kart engines, took the opportunity this year to introduce their 4-Stroke engine in the UK.
They were present with a small boot that was attended by riders, organizations and kart dealers. The RK1 engine seems to fill up a gap in the UK 4-Stroke market and several organizations looking for an affordable, accountable and reliable 4-stroke concept.
The many enthusiastic responses Schuurman BV was received from the fair, by dealers, track owners, Karting clubs, organizations and Sprint and Endurance riders, opens good prospects for the future RK1 in the UK.
