BRP-Powertrain GmbH & Co KG partners, for the second year in a row, with chassis manufacturers, Maranello Kart and C.R.G. for the 2009 Rotax® MAX ChallengeTM Grand Finals. The event will take place at the Ghibli Raceway on the Sharm El Sheikh resort in Egypt from December 9 to December 12, 2009.

"Quality chassis partners are playing an important role in the sport of karting. Maranello and CRG's vast knowledge and experience in the industry are essential to this business", said Robert Gumpenberger, BRP-Powertrain RMC organizer. "We look for long-term relationships with our partners to establish the best environment for our drivers and are very happy that they decided to return for a second year", he added.

BRP-Powertrain has been organizing the ROTAX MAX Challenge (RMC) Grand Finals for the last 10 years. During that time, the RMC has become the worlds' leading kart racing series, attracting 216 of the best drivers from 57 countries from all over the globe. The RMC karting series is organized under the patronage of Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA), the governing body for world motorsport, and has been granted the prestigious title FIA authorised series. "We are happy to return to the Sharm El Sheikh for the 2009 Grand finals", said Gumpenberger. "Having been here in 2004, we know it is a good track and are delighted that Mr. Hany Soufrakis and the Ghibli Raceway have extended the courtesy and invitation for us to return", he concluded.
