Double victory for CRG in WSK Zuera

The chassis and engines manufactured by the CRG group win in every category, in many countries of the world and in major international events. On the Spanish circuit of Zuera, in the very hard-fought WSK series, Brandon Maisano won in Super KF at the wheel of a LH chassis, constructed by CRG factory and equipped with a Maxter engine. "Maisano gave us a pleasant surprise by dominating from the very first race in the hardest category" a CRG representative stressed. "All the best teams were there and this demonstrates that the equipment is effective, highly adaptable and great to use. Congratulations to the Chiesa Corse Team, which trained and prepared the French karter. It was a nice revenge after the World Cup for KF2, he was this close to victory before a collision".

Second in the Super Pole and winner of one heat, Maisano was soon fighting for victory shoulder to shoulder with Gary Catt in the final. Thanks to his speed in all the parts of the difficult Zuera track, he made the difference and took the chequered flag alone, just when Lewis Hamilton, whose initials give the name to this chassis, was dominating the F1 Grand Prix in Singapore! The icing on the cake for the Italian company came from Arnaud Kozlinski (third place). With his CRG-Maxter, Kozlinski remains an excellent candidate for victory at next WSK round, which will be held in a few weeks' time in Lonato, the land of origin of his team!

CRG also achieved brilliant results in KZ2 with the two drivers from CRG Holland, Rick Dreezen and Jorrit Pex. They showed an impressive performance in the qualifying phase and reached the first two places. Dreezen was first, after also gaining a pole in timed qualifying. Dreezen continued to fight at the lead during all the final phase against a bunch of very strong rivals. A place on the third step of the podium was the well deserved reward for his efforts. Pex, a very talented private driver, finished just behind, in fourth place.

Maxter Wins at Top Level

The Italian engine manufacturer never disappoints at major international karting events. In early September, Jonathan Thonon won the World Cup for KZ1 - one of the most important events of the season - with his CRG-Maxter. Three weeks later, Maxter won in Super KF, in a race where almost all official drivers competed. "All these victories are important because they show the full potential of Maxter engines, regardless of the version, with or without gearbox" Nico Carigiet commented. "Zuera is a circuit with long and fast stretches, but also with narrow bends and hairpin bends that favour restart. In addition to that, WSK Super KF final races are 40 km long. The victory of Brandon Maisano's LH-Maxter has shown the great qualities of the engine: power at low, middle and high regimes, as well as reliability. Our congratulations also go to Rick Dreezen, third in KZ2 with Tec'Sav preparations".
